We knew Alisha + Seth’s beautiful, rainy, fall Harvest Golf Club wedding in Kelowna was going to be awesome after meeting them and then shooting their awesome engagement session downtown by the Okanagan Lake. These guys are really fun and relaxed and it shows throughout the day!
Alisha began with makeup applied by her cousin Carly Beckstead of Concealed with a Kiss. The girls were full of laughter and fun as they got ready at Alisha’s parent’s house in Kelowna. Alisha slipped into her gorgeous blush wedding dress from Bliss Bridal Boutique while the flower girls oohed and awed!
Seth got dressed at his Sister’s home. The guys were all jokes while they figured out bowties and suspenders. As we watched the rain pour down, Seth was never worried. Cool as a cucumber, nothing could dampen his spirits!
The ceremony was held at the Harvest Golf Club in East Kelowna. The Harvest is a beautiful spot throughout the warm season with rich colours in every direction. The staff worked hard to keep the seats dry and everybody comfortable while we waited for the ceremony to begin. As if on cue, the rain stopped and every thing came together perfectly for the sweet and touching vows shared between these two and their families.
After family photos on the lawn, we marched around the beautiful property with the bridal party shooting just off the fairway, the beautiful water feature, and in the awesome Pear Orchards that the Harvest has.
We whisked the couple away right after and drove all the way up to the Myra Canyon Trestles for some epic photographs on the trail and the trestles. By this time the sun was peaking through and everything could not have been better!
The reception was held in the clubhouse where the Harvest provided a delicious dinner for the guests to enjoy followed by speeches and the PIE CUTTING! Yes! These guys chose pie and it was awesome! Watch for Seth’s quick reflexes as our pie attempted to take a tumble off the table! After dessert, and a rousing go at the Shoe Game that included both sets of parents, DJ John Byrne put the dance floor in action as the couple danced and laughed and danced some more. Soon everyone joined in and the party never slowed!
Alisha + Seth provided a wonderful, beautiful, and relaxed celebration for themselves and their family and friends. It was perfect and we’re so thrilled we could be a part!
