Shannon + Tyler had a beautiful fall Gellatly Nut Farm wedding that was Rustic with a twist of Modern flare. The awesome Okanagan sun came out to greet us that day. It was the warmest day that week and we weren’t sure if we’d have rain or cold temperatures but lo and behold, we were over clothed and hot!
Shannon + Tyler have such amazing chemistry, and it’s couples like this that just make us fall in love with our job all over again. Getting to spend the day with great clients on the most amazing day of their life is always a thrill. While we were editing, we couldn’t help but notice the way Tyler loves Shannon, from the tiniest glance he throws her way during the reception, to the way he had to dry his eyes whilst she walked down the aisle; this is a deep love. And no wonder Shannon can’t contain her joy, which will leap out of each photograph. These two are so in love.
This Gellatly Nut Farm wedding in West Kelowna was held at the farm’s rustic alter surrounded amazing greenery and stunning rows of trees. The reception was held at Two Eagles Golf Course, where the two love birds had their first dance on the terrace overlooking the lush green course. The reception was catered by 19 Okanagan Grill + Bar, with amazing entrees of grilled chicken with Apple Cider Compote as well as Slow Braised Short Rib.
To sweeten the night was an amazing 4 tiered wedding cake designed and created by none other than Sweet On You Designer Cups and Cakes.
