Manteo Resort Wedding | Laura + Ryan

Laura + Ryan’s Manteo Resort wedding in Kelowna was just amazing! Every detail and piece of the puzzle was perfect! Even the weather, which threatened rain, held out and we had nothing but sun and clouds!

The day started with Laura + Ryan getting ready at the Manteo Resort surrounded by family and friends! There were notes being given, happy tears, smiles, and laughs as each prepared to say “I do”.

The ceremony was held on the patio of the Manteo. A tent was provided for the guests just in case things got a little drizzly, but the rain went around us and everything was wonderful! Laura + Ryan’s touching vows (written in the cutest little Vow Books), rings, and kiss, sealed the deal for these two! After, a few family portraits, it was time to photograph their bridal party!

We began Bridal Party portraits right on the lake as a few friendly ducks came and said hello! Then we ventured to a gorgeous park on the banks of the Okanagan Lake! The clouds gave us some truly dramatic skies and soon it was time for the couple’s portraits. We tromped around the trails, tall grasses, and down to the water’s edge. Afterward, we stopped in an Orchard for some lovely, leafy green pictures!

Manteo Resort wedding receptions are held in their lovely ballroom. The patio is just through the doors and it’s a great place for your guests to relax and spend time together. After dinner and speeches, we explored the boardwalk for a few breathtaking sunset portraits. This kind of sunset is a Kelowna photographer’s dream!

Soon it was time for cake-cutting, formal dances, and then Dj Superdave had us hopping with joy in celebration of the wonderful wedding day! Thank you so much, Laura + Ryan, for choosing us to be your Kelowna wedding photography team!
